First Race Week of the year!!! Let's go

ITS RACE WEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!

This weekend, finally, formula e is back, and what better way then to start the season than 45 minutes around the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriquez in Mexico City.

Jake Dennis got his championship winning season off to a great start last year, winning the race ahead of Porsche’s Pascal Wehrlein, with Lucas di Grassi rounding off the podium. If anything, I’m excited for 2 reasons.

1)      Formula E is back, and its in its landmark 10th season

2)      Mexican fans are always amazing fans, and the race never fails to deliver.  

This season marks the 2nd season that formula e is racing with its 3rd generation of race car, and to be perfectly honest, the series has come on A LOT from Gen 1 and Season 1. Car swaps are now a thing of the past, and the gen 3 is one of the most technologically advanced cars in the series history.

Now on to my race predictions.

Formula e is so hard to predict, as we’ve seen season on season, year on year, however:

Podium:

1st Dennis or Cassidy

2nd Bird

3rd Frijns

Pole:

Jake Dennis

Fastest Lap

Either one of the Envision or McLaren cars, or maybe Jake Dennis.

Surprise result:

Either ERT scoring points
