Well... What a day!!! After FP1 this morning, it didn't look like the team were going to be in any points scoring positions whatsoever. Sam didn't get any running in FP2, due to contact with the Tecpro barrier which prematurely ended FP1. Sylvain wasn't on site until qualifying, because of the Envision Virgin Racing RACC Innovation Summit, where all the Envision Virgin partners get together and talk about the issues to do with climate change. I tuned in to that and missed FP2 in the process. It was really interesting though. I'm legit so happy and proud to call myself an Envision Virgin Racing fan today, and the consistent podiums and points scoring finishes show that the car is capable to win races. The team are still 7 points behind Techeetah in 2nd but this is their "strongest season to date" so far (Sylvain pre Rome 2019) I'm so proud of the team today for all their hard work and effort that gets put in to fixing the cars and making sure that they are at their optimal performance level. I'm proud to support this team and long may it continue. :P. I cried when the British anthem was played............... but I know that they are in a car that is capable of winning races. I love Formula E and know that this may be the only sustainable way forward. but yeah. Derby won 2-0 Robin won the ePrix so yeah. It's generally been a good day.
