Hey guys!! Its that time again!!! Blog time As it has been a week since FEs dramatic and fun end, i thought that it would be fun to type up some of my best moments. So, here we go!! First one has to be EVR Superfan Cam!! No question. It was an honour to be asked to do this and I have made a friend that I will treasure for a long time. I was on the telly almost all the races, apart from the Sunday when robin DNS d the race where I was on the telly pre race. It was a super cool experience and if I get asked to do it again, the answer will always be yes. There is a reason I support this team as close and passionately as I do, and to be asked to do something as big as this was an opportunity I couldn’t say no to. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and now Laney's mum and Jack Nicholls know who i am so yeah !!! Happy nat :) My second highlight of the season is when the team finished ahead of Audi in the teams standings by 7 points. This was huge, as EVR are an independent team, with which Audi supply their powertrains. This being said, minus pre season testing, they only get 1 or 2 days of testing a season because of their customer status. Now, to pull of performances like the have constantly been doing all season, and finish 4th in the standings ahead of the likes of Jaguar BMW and Audi is MASSIVE!!! It is also a massive testament to how much hard work does go on back at Silverstone, and behind the scenes track side as well. What may seem like 2 practise sessions 1 qualifying session and then the race itself to us fans, is much much much more than that to the guys at EVR. Its the prep before the race with all the simulator runs, the car builds track side, the garage set up the first day, the track walks, the list goes on. As a fan of EVR, although it isnt equalling the 3rd place they got last season, 4th is still an impressive feat. My third highlight is when Sam won the opening round of the season in Diriyah. I had got up really early to follow all the practise sessions, and then watched Qualifying. Sam Qualified P5, and self admittedly didn't do a great lap, but he was happy he got through to super pole, and he also got the point for topping group qualifying. I also got a shoutout during the live coverage from Jack and Dario, which I was quite pleased about. But yeah. When Sam crossed the finish line, all i could do was cry happy tears!! It was sam and the teams only win of the season, and to get it in that sort of fashion was mega. Allan was there to congratulate the guys as well which I found really cute. They deserved that win and it was 5 years exactly since Sam won his 1st race in Putrajaya. That made me proud. When it was announced that Sam was leaving the team for Jaguar, i couldn't help but cry. If it wasn't for Sam and the team, I wouldn't have got in to Formula E in the first place, and wouldn't have made so many amazing friends that i know i will stay in touch with for a llllllllllllloooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnngggggggggg time!! It has since been announced that Nick Cassidy will be talking his place at EVR, which I am looking forward to. Having smashed rookie lap record that has been Nico Mueller's for 2 years, setting a 1:16.457, and then getting a podium in the race at home challenge really does excite me. I really can't wait to see what Nick can bring to the table in Season 7 and beyond. My 4th and final highlight of the season is THAT finish between Robin and Max Guenther in Berlin. I was in shock when robin crossed the line behind max. Robin had 1% more energy almost all the race, and had he pushed a little bit more, i think he could have won the race!!! I was doing EVR Superfan cam, and my reaction that was shown on the TV was my literal thought. Wow. I was doing the maths the other day, and Robin outscored Sam in Berlin by 4 points (Sam scored 44 whilst Robin scored 48.) That also was finishing fewer races as well. I'll bullet point the points down below in a sec, as well as a full season points rundown. But yeah. Back to the point. That finish was so close. 0.128 seconds between max and robin on the line. I literally think that that is the closest finish in formula e history, and yeah. Wow. Anyway. Ill leave you with final points tally for Berlin and the season Eyes forward Natalie Berlin Sam Podium (P3) (15) Points (P6) (8) Non score finish (P13) (0) Non score finish (P11) (0) Points (P5) (10) Points (+FL) (P5) (11) Robin DNF (0) Points (P4) (12) Podium (P2) (18) DNS (0) Podium (P2) (18) DNF (0) Season rundown Sam Podium (+FL) (P1) (26) DNF Points (+FL) (P10) (2) DNF Points (P10) (1) Podium (P3) (15) Points (P6) (8) Non points finish (P13) (0) Non points finish (P11) (0) Points (P5) (10) Points (+FL) (P5) (11) Robin Points (P5) (10) DNF Non Points finish (P15) DSQ Non Points Finish (P12) DNF (0) Points (P4) (12) Podium (P2) (18) DNS (0) Podium (P2) (18) DNF (0) Final Standings Sam P10 Robin P12 Team P4
